WebJun 7, 2024 · HBO should be ashamed of this app. I have a Sharp Roku TV. Every other app works fine. Netflix, Peacock, Prime Video. No problems. Just now, once again, HBO Max didn't just crash, it shut my tv off & it took five minutes to get it to work again. I have taken to watching HBO Max content on my 15 inch Chromebook. Garbage app. WebMy problem is that when I click a particular movie to watch the app crashes and throws me back to Roku Home Screen. Has happened dozens of times past two days. Roku and the HBO Max app have latest updates. This is all likelihood a software problem with the app and I feel confident it will be resolved relatively shortly.
